Psychedelic Author, Zach Leary, son of Timothy Leary, gave a talk at Cine in Athens, GA about his book, “Your Extraordinary Mind: Psychedelics in the 21st Century and How to Use Them.” The event was sponsored by Athens Psychedelic Society and Athens Uncharted.

A Talk With Psychedelic Author, Zach Leary

On September 16, 2025, the Athens Psychedelic Society and Athens Uncharted hosted Zach Leary, son of Timothy Leary, who shared his new book, Your Extraordinary Mind: Psychedelics in the 21st Century and How to Use Them. The book is a guide to using psychedelics sustainably instead of just seeking altered states. Zach explains how today’s psychedelic use is different from his father’s time, focusing on the importance of "set, setting, and sustainability.” We were glad to welcome Zach and thankful to our member and fellow psychedelic author, Mark Katzman, for manifesting this event.
